:: About The Trinity Tribesmen ::

"Freely have you received, freely give."

This is the foundational operating principle of The Trinity Tribesmen.  Our mission is simple: To collect donated items and redistribute them free of charge to anyone with a need.  To this end we seek out both donors and those with needs. We desire to help people who fall between the cracks, unable to get help from other organizations.  By providing needed items we desire to improve their lives and give them hope, proving that someone does indeed care about them. To understand what we do and the impact of the ministry on people please read As the Story Goes ... a typical ministry experience and some true stories of real people we've been blessed to help. (These are quick reads.)

A Family Serves God
The Trinity Tribesmen was founded in 2002 after collecting items for distribution to The Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. That trip proved providential in God's plans for five siblings. The three brothers and two sisters who started and still operate the ministry are: Hubert Rogers (deceased) Paul Rogers, David Rogers, Lois Kennedy and Carol Richards.

Non-Profit Status
In May 2004 The Trinity Tribesmen received non-profit 501(c)(3) status from the U.S. Government.  Donation of money and in-kind-goods are tax deductible for individuals, businesses and organizations.

The Ministry Grows
In the fall of 2004 the ministry began construction on a 2400 square foot warehouse to store, organize and distribute the donated items.  This building would allow them to speed up redistribution considerably. The building features a sorting area, an 8' x 42' mezzanine for storing sorted items, a area for storing and repairing appliances, office space and a truck loading dock. Additionally they were able to purchase several semi-trailers and eventually a used semi tractor needing repair.

The Present
Today The Trinity Tribesmen take in and redistribute hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of good, clean useable goods every year.  They coordinate their efforts with other local organizations like the Salvation Army and the Red Cross. Additionally they work with local communities to meet the needs of people throughout the West Central Area of Missouri and East Central area of Kansas.
